Doing Something Hot!

This is day 30 of my OTP challenge and the last day ‘Doing Something Hot’.  So here we go!

Fionna and Prince Gumball were at broader of the Candy king and the Fire kingdom because summer was coming and the Fire kingdom advances about a mile in its broader automatically in the summer. This was usually just Prince Gumball’s job but, Fionna tagged along just in case there were fire goblins (they had been acting up lately) but, really it was just to be with her boyfriend. Bubba was picking up the little flags that marked the Candy kingdom to walk it over to the new boarder. Fionna was out in the field that the boarder stood on holding up her sword just in case anything came along.

After about ten minutes of the same thing Fionna sighed really load to show Bubba she was bored. “I told you not to come. I knew this would happen but you don’t listen to me” Bubba said in a sarcastic voice. Fionna huffed and muffled “Blahblahblahblahblahblahblah Psh whatever DAD.” Bubba rolled his eyes picking up the last flag and came up to Fionna putting out his hand for her and said “Come on were done here let’s go.” Fionna smiled took Bubba’s hand then started walking.

They were a little more than mile into the Candy kingdom when Bubba started setting up the flags again. After about a good 20 minutes the couple began to walk home. The candy prince walked Fionna home and when she went to kiss he backed up. Fionna tilted her head to the side and said “What’s wrong.” “I’m melting” Gumball whispered very embarrassed. “What? I know it’s hot but that means you can’t kiss” “No that’s not it my candy matrix is making me melt because of the heat. Even though I’ve calmed down but I still might stick on you or something…” Bubba said so embarrassed his face was tomato red. Fionna sighed and kissed him anyway. “See you’re fine though I will admit that your lips were the slightest bit softer than usual” Fionna said making both of them giggle and the couple kiss again.
