In battle, side-by-side!

Ok so here's day 22 of my OTP challenge 'In battle, side-by-side'! Hereth we goeth!

Fionna and Gumball were back to back, in front of the candy castle fighting the ant knights that were surrounding them. The kingdom of ants had come to take over because, the ant kingdom was mad that the candy kingdom wouldn’t give them more sugar than they needed. They didn’t come with many forces to the candy kingdom, thinking everyone there was weak (which unfortunately for the most part was true) but, they weren't defenseless not with a King and Queen Gumball on their side. Fionna and Bubba were in the front lines with the Banana guards. Both of them had swords tightly in their fist and were swinging at anything that was moving. They were both great and, if most the candy citizens weren't hiding already in dungeon they would know too. "Bubba go left" Fionna said the exact same time Bubba said "Fionna go right!" There were the sounds of clangs and heavy breathing from all around.

The rest of the candy citizens were setting/re-setting traps Bubba had made for them if any soldiers tried to get close. Of course the marshmallow kids were the first to sign up for the fight. Marshall Lee was holding off a couple of ‘Red Ant Troops’ (very strong) while the others got the black ant troops off. Peppermint maid had strangely aware ideas for advance and in a way vicious warfare. This allowed her to be able to handle a couple of Red Ants on her own. Everyone was doing the best that they could but with half of the Kingdom in the dungeons for safety it was up to Fionna and Bubba.

Luckily for them everything had been working just fine and actually a head of plan. The Ant Queen (an: Ha the red Queen) called everyone back when Fionna kicked the Queen square in the face. Fionna and Bubba each other a high-five and Ant Queen said wobbling away “We’ll come back for the!!!” Fionna and Bubba pfted then Fionna said “I may not have the super brains like my husband but as they said in Shakespeare times ‘You need to check thy self before you proceed to rec thyn self’!” (Note: not really use in Shakespeare times) Bubba slapped his palm on his forehead and mumbled “No, no, no, no Fionna… just stop… please.” Everyone was already around the king and queen so the just cheered and laughed. Fionna left out an angry huff but then got kissed by Bubba. “Look I’ll make it up tonight I promised” Bubba whispered in Fionna’s ear, making Marshall Lee laugh to himself from across the yard. Thus making the two blush.
